What we store is your call. Necessary stays on, everything else is up to you.
NEXTARI sets no tracking cookies and still runs real advertising. Sponsored spots are matched to the page, never to a profile of you. NEXTARI stores nothing but the settings you choose yourself; the list below shows how the platform handles it. On the platform you change your choice any time on its cookie page; details in our Privacy Policy.
NEXTARI sets no tracking cookies. We use browser local storage for the settings you choose yourself, such as your availability status, widget layout, subscription pauses, stream plan, consent choice (keys beginning with nx_). These entries are technically required to provide what you asked for and stay on your device. External players (Twitch, YouTube) only connect after you click them; whatever those providers set is governed by their policies. External images are different and we say so: artwork, channel pictures, video thumbnails and product images load the moment a page opens, from Valve, Twitch, Google, Shopify and occasionally Fandom. That request carries your IP address to them. No cookies for us, nothing comes back about you, and the full list is in section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
A fair question. If we don’t track you, how can NEXTARI feel personal, and how do partners get results? The answer is first-party by design.
Personalization comes from you, not from surveillance. Your recommendations are built from the accounts you deliberately connect. Your Steam library, the channels you follow, the friends you add on NEXTARI. That data comes through official APIs with your login, lives in your account, and never follows you across the web.
Ads are contextual, not behavioral. Sponsored placements are matched to the subject of a page (a racing game next to racing content) and always labeled. No ad profile, no auction of your attention. As advertising on NEXTARI grows, it grows exactly this way. Labeled, contextual, cookie-free.
Partners get verified results without cookies. When you leave NEXTARI through a partner link, the handoff itself carries the attribution; purchases run through our payment provider. That is how “pay for verified results” works with zero third-party adtech.
Images from stores are content, not trackers. Game artwork, channel pictures and video thumbnails load from their own content servers the same way any image loads. Delivery, not observation: they set no cookies for us and tell us nothing about you. What they do see is the IP address every image request carries, so we name them instead of calling them invisible. Serving these images from our own servers is on the list; it would remove the connection entirely.
What changes at launch: a necessary first-party session cookie so you stay signed in, and our payment provider’s checkout. Both essential, neither tracking. The promise stays exactly as it is: no tracking cookies. That is not a limitation of the preview; it is a product decision.
